1. First make sure that Windows antivirus and defender are disabled or removed (in case you cannot disable it completely).
2. Make sure you have both versions of Visual C ++ 2017
3. Most likely, Dota is extracted from a separate library from Steam, and the second Dota or record with it remains in the folder with Steam. In this case, return Dota back to the standard Steam path.

The default installation for Dota 2 will place files at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2\dota (or C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\dota if the game was installed during the beta).

You have incorrectly turned off the antivirus. You need to do this through the local group policy editor.

• press win+r and write gpedit.msc
